This collection contains about 4,000 pages from the papers of Joseph Smith, founding prophet of the Church; the Revelations collection; 34,000 pages of letters and typescripts of Brigham Young correspondence; as well as thousands of pages from the writings of President Joseph F. Smith.

Also included are collections such as the early writings of Lorenzo Snow in England; records of apostle Charles C. Rich, commander of the Nauvoo Legion and colonizer of San Bernardino, California; the diaries of apostle and scientist Orson Pratt; the journals of J. Golden Kimball; and papers of George A.
